如何对待世间恩恩怨怨的眷属因缘？

智广阿阇梨答：

总之，轮回中的眷属聚会，无非报恩、报仇、讨债、还债。

最好的对待方式，就是对他们发慈悲心，发菩提心，发扬药师琉璃光如来十二大愿的精神，尽量善待他们，让他们欢喜，以智慧和慈悲感化他们。大家最好能够一起念佛修行，同归极乐净土，恩仇眷属转化为菩提眷属，那就完美了。

如果实在无力感化，也要发圆满的善心，尽力而为，至少让他们听到 “南无药师琉璃光如来”的殊胜名号，以后他们一定会破迷开悟，离苦得乐。

How to manage the love-hate relationship with our companions in this world?

Answered by Acharya Zhiguang:

In general, the causes for all gatherings of companions in the Samsara can be summarized into four relations: repaying kindness, seeking revenge, collecting debts and paying back debts.

The best way to deal with the relations is to generate compassion and Bodhichitta towards them, try our best to treat them nicely, making them happy in the way the Medicine Buddha demonstrated in His Twelve Great Vows, and guide them with wisdom and compassion. It would be best if we can practice together, reciting the names of the Buddhas together so we can return to the Pure Land together. Thus, it will be perfect that we convert our hateful companions into Dharma companions.

In the case that we are unable to influence our companions, we should still try our best with complete compassion in our mind. At least, we should make the supreme name of the Medicine Buddha (Namo Bhaishajyaguru) be heard by them, so in future they will definitely be awakened from ignorance to enlightenment and enjoy happiness free of suffering.

世間の恩讐の絡む因縁に如何に対応すればよいのでしょうか。

智廣阿闍梨回答：

輪廻転生の中での眷属との出会いは、「報恩」（恩返し）、「報怨」（仕返し ）、「討債」（取立て）、「還債」（返済）の四種類のみです。一番良い対処方法は、彼らに対し慈悲心や菩提心を起こし、薬師如来の十二の大願の精神を以て、できる限り彼らに対し親切に報いることです。彼らを喜ばせ、智慧と慈悲により彼らを感化します。一番良いのは皆共に念仏修行をし、共に極楽浄土に帰することができれば、恩讐の関係は菩提の関係に転換し、この上なく理想的です。もしどうしても感化する力がないとしても、善に満ちた心で、力を尽くしましょう。少なくとも彼らに「南無薬師瑠璃光如来」の御名を聞かせることができたなら、彼らはいつの日か必ず迷いを打ち破り悟りを得、苦しみから離れ幸せを得ることができるでしょう。
